RISK – ARTIST SPOTLIGHT
LA GRAFFITI ARTIST
Risk Rock is a staple in the Los Angeles Arts and graffiti scene. The LA native has a long and illustrious career beginning over 30 years ago and spanning studio spaces from 1st to 15th street around the arts district. Risk was an obvious choice for a healthy contribution to the recent "BEYOND THE STREETS" exhibition, curated by Roger Gastman and Adidas Skateboarding THE VENICE PAVILION One of the more nostalgic moments for many Los Angeles Residents during the "Beyond the Streets" event was the iconic recreation of the Venice Pavilion, featuring replicate concrete park fixtures and wall to wall graffiti by none other than Risk. BEYOND THE STREETS (link) The original location was home to some of Risk's earlier signature tags & artwork, and the pavilion itself was a home for locals, skaters, and beach goers alike.

The Adidas installation was a large and popular showcase, but far from the only event on Risk's busy schedule. With recent commissions for hotels & exhibitions throughout the country, the Los Angeles native is shaping up to have a busy 2019.
